Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros

Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail expected to spend her life surrounded by books, but her commanding general mother forces her to join the dangerous Riders Quadrant at Basgiath War College, where aspiring dragon riders train for battle. Smaller and more fragile than her fellow cadets, Violet must rely on her intelligence and determination to survive brutal challenges, deadly rivals, and dragons that refuse to bond with the weak. As she navigates dangerous alliances and an unexpected attraction to the powerful and mysterious Xaden Riorson, Violet discovers that the war college holds secrets far more dangerous than she ever imagined. Filled with dragons, magic, romance, and breathtaking adventure, Fourth Wing is an exhilarating fantasy novel about courage, survival, and discovering one’s true strength.
