Small Surface. Big Motion.

What happens when you limit the space… but expand the energy?

In Small Surface. Big Motion. we’ll explore how to create dynamic, expressive abstract paintings on a smaller canvas, using bold color choices, intentional movement, gesture, layering, contrast, texture, and rhythm.

This class is all about: ✨ letting color lead ✨ creating movement with your marks ✨ building depth through layers ✨ using composition to make a small space feel powerful. You’ll experiment with brushwork, palette knife techniques, and intuitive mark-making to create a piece that feels alive, not careful, not tight, but full of motion and personality. Small format. Big presence. No experience necessary.

Beginners to seasoned artists are welcome.
